QUALS

National Blue Beret is one of several mission bases for the EAA AirVenture Search and Rescue Mission that is assigned by the United States Air Force Rescue Coordination Center.

These ES qualifications are required to participate in the mission and the activity.

​Cadets not completed by 1 June will be replaced.

 

The following courses are found in eservices Learning Management System - Absorb

  • Aircraft Ground Handling Video and Test (current throughout the activity) 

  • Basic Risk Management

  • Intermediate Risk Management

  • ICUT 

    • Online courses are in the Learning Management System -ABSORB
    • Hands-On by your Comms or ES Officer
  • CAPT 116 

In addition to the qualifications listed on Reg Zone, the following are also required.

  • CAPT 117 part 1  

  • CAPT 117 part 2 

  • CAPT 117 part 3 

FEMA Courses not in Absorb. Follow the links below.

  • IS 700.b Introduction to NIMS (FEMA Course)

  • IS 100.c Introduction to ICS (FEMA Course)

    • FEMA requires you to register in their Student Identification System at this link
    • Once you've completed the courses, upload your certificates into eservices. Go to your 101 card. Under your name, you'll see "View and Upload Documents". Select which document you are uploading, then select the certificate file on your computer. It will need approval from your squadron leadership before it shows up in eservices.
