IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Get off the bus at Wittman Airport.

  • The only other stop is on a street corner at the University of Wisconsin. It is just a street corner, no phones, no businesses, no bathrooms, just a street corner.  Be sure to get off at the correct stop.


  • If you are coming from the east coast, or from a long distance, MAKE SURE you ARRIVE on the correct day

STEP 6 - TRAVEL

​Private Vehicle (POV) Travelers


POV Travelers will receive an email with detailed instructions.  

Those traveling by POV and COV may have room in their vehicles for extra passengers. We will attempt to connect people who wish to try this route through the use of an interactive map below. Map is updated daily. Please let the travel coordinator know if you need to be added or find an error on the map by emailing travel@NBB.cap.gov

General Travel Information

  • Travel to and from NBB in appropriate civilian attire. Travel in CAP uniforms is NOT authorized.


  • Early arrival is not permitted for non-staff and first time attendees.


  • Staff traveling with basics should arrive on Monday for in-processing.


  • Every participant MUST fill out the Travel Form no matter your mode of transportation


  • Forward the airline or bus itinerary email to travel@NBB.cap.gov

Commercial Airline Information


ARRIVAL:


  • Book flights to Milwaukee (MKE), WI.  


  • NBB Shuttle Times:
    • 1400 depart MKE
    • 1800 depart MKE


  • Make sure your flight arrives AT LEAST one hour PRIOR to the last shuttle departure time of 1800
  • We take into account minor delays and give you time to get your luggage.


  • NBB Staff will be in baggage claim to greet you


  • If you miss the bus/van, you are responsible for your own transportation to NBB. This could be rather costly.



DEPARTURE:


Book all departure flights after 0900 on 27 July 2020.

All shuttles leave the NBB Compound at 06:00

We will be tracking weather and flight delays. However, if you are aware of any delays in your flights, contact us as soon as possible at 920-306-4622. We will still provide transportation from MKE when delays are beyond your control.
